Evidence of 8ft sea scorpion found, drawn

BBC News is reporting that a 390 million year old fossilised claw belonging to an 8 foot sea scorpion has been found in a German quarry.
The claw itself measures 46cm, which is just over 18 inches.

New web-only ad for Apple

Apparently a new, web-only ad from Apple has been seen on several large sites, including News.com, Engadget.com and PCMag.com, pitting poor PC against Mac.
The ad is actually two seperate, a banner at the top and another ad on the right side.
