Where is the best food city? Paris? Maybe New York?

Nope. According to the latest Michelin Guide, it’s Tokyo, Japan.

In case you don’t know, receiving a star from the Michelin Guide is a big deal.

Accoding to Jean-Luc Naret , director of the guide (and a Frenchman):

“Tokyo is becoming the global city with the finest cuisine, the city in the world with the most stars.”

Restaurants in Tokyo were awarded 191 stars, twice as many as Paris, and three times as many as New York.
