The UMPC (Ultra Mobile Personal Computer) is an interesting market segment.

On Thursday, Palm announced that they will be unable to meet their initial Q2 forecast for the 2008 fiscal year (which for them ended November 30, 2007), blaming the failed launch of a new “key product”.

As you may recall, Apple and NBC have been bickering, resulting in NBC television shows leaving the iTunes Store on December 2, 2007.
The reason for the split? Money, of course.
