Upcoming Palm layoffs focusing on OS development?

This one isn’t beyond the rumor stage at this point, but , but according to a tipster at Valleywag Palm will be laying off 250 people.
The tipster went on to say, “the biggest cuts are from OS development…[Senior VP Mark] Bercow wants the OS sold by April or worst case scenario–abandoned.”
