On December 11, 2007, I posted here that SED televisions were still in trouble and that Canon was reportedly stopping work on technology that would have made manufacturing of SED TV’s less expensive.
Was that the end for SED TV’s? Maybe not.

According to Valleywag, It looks like when Steve Jobs officially introduces movie rentals from iTunes at Macworld in his keynote on January 15, 2008, Disney and Pixar will be joining Fox as studios that will offer rental content.
