According to someone alleged to be a high ranking Jay-Z associate, plans are “a go” for Jay-Z and Apple to launch their own music label.
Jay-Z recently stepped down as president of Def Jam records after his contracted expired on December 31st, 2007, saying “it’s time for me to take on new challenges.”

I’m sure everyone has heard about the lights going out on analog television broadcasts in favor of digital ones on February 17, 2009.
… The FCC has approved new rules regarding the transition and allows, among other things, for stations to reduce or terminate their analog service before the deadline “if doing so is necessary to achieve their transition.”
