Garmin bringing new mystery product ‘bobcat’ to Macworld 2008 [UPDATED]

bobcatCES isn’t finished yet and already we’re getting excited about next weeks show, Macworld 2008.

According to Garmin’s official company blog they’ll be there and will be showing a mystery device they’re calling ‘bobcat’.

What is it? No one outside of Garmin know for sure, but the blog post ends with “I think you’re going to like it.”

Please, please be a GPS for the iPhone and a new Apple MID (Mobile Internet Device) small table PC…guess we’ll all find out next week.

(Yes, I know the next iPhone firmware will have cell tower triangulation but an actual GPS receiver should be more accurate.)

UPDATE: Bobcat has been revealed–you can check it out here.
