Constantin Film AG has announced that the are dropping HD DVD and will be releasing high-definition discs on Blu-ray only beginning March 1.
Who is Constantin Film AG?
While many people in the US haven’t heard of them, Constantin Film AG is one of Germany’s top independent film production and distribution company’s, responsible for 11 of the 25 most successful German films in the last ten years.
When asked about the move, their Home Entertainment Director said that they are “following the international trend.”
