What will Steve Jobs be announcing in his keynote this Tuesday at Macworld?

Lots of opinions are floating around at various sites, so here are my guesses at what Steve will be announcing:

Hardware:

• New thin, light MacBook with LED backlit screen, external optical drive, with a new trackpad with multi-touch (like the iPhone)
• Merging of the Mac Mini and the Apple TV into a new Apple TV with updated Front Row and DVR capabilities
• New Apple Cinema display with built-in webcam
• Minor spec bump to iMacs with option to include a Blu-ray drive (read only)
• New NAS (Network Attached Storage) with 802.11n Wi-Fi
• New iPhone announcement with 3G and 16GB, won’t ship for several months

Software:

• Leopard 10.5.2 update released
• iTunes update to with movie rentals, some in HD
• iPhone 1.1.3 update released
• Release of iPhone SDK

We’ll see if any of these predications are anywhere near accurate Tuesday morning beginning at 9am Pacific Time.
