Nokia to lay off 2,300 employees in Germany

nokia_logoNokia announced that they will soon be closing their German factory in Bochum, leaving 2,300 people out of work.

The reason for the factory closure is “market changes and increasing requirements for cost-effectiveness.”

Negotiations with labor unions have already and Nokia plans to close the plant as soon as possible.
