Many Windows users have known for a while that if they’re looking for a great way to manage their digital photos and do some basic retouching, Google’s Picasa is a great choice plus its free.
Rumor has it that Google is working on a version of Picasa for Mac’s and it should be ready later this year.
Why does Picasa for Mac matter? Isn’t it just an iPhoto copy?
If a simple, easy-to-use, easy on the eyes photo manager that can share photos online is an iPhoto knock-off, then yes it is.
Some users even prefer Picasa to iPhoto.
Not having it available for Macs is toughest on switchers who had been using Picasa on their Windows PC.
