Microsoft has released a software update for it’s Zune line of media players, bringing the software up to version 2.3.
A few weeks ago you might remember another 2.3 update released by Microsoft for the Zune. That was a firmware update, this one is a software update.
No new features, but lots of bug fixes.

After Warner Bros. announced just before CES that they would be dropping HD DVD in favor of Blu-ray, many jumped to the conclusion that HD DVD was doomed and if the change in hardware sales numbers are any indication they were right.

The Sierra Club, an activist group normally focused on the outdoors, has turned its attention indoors where kids are getting fat and lazy.

In October 2007 Sony announced a ceramic white Playstation 3 and DualShock 3 controller for the Japanese market.
Will these models ever make it to the US in non-import form? Seems pretty likely.

On Friday Yahoo! stock closed at $20.78 per share, less than half of what it was worth in early 2006.
With a workforce of roughly 14,000 people, Yahoo will need to layoff hundreds of people to try and increase profitability and improve focus.
