In addition to the Canon Rebel XSi 450D that was announced today, Canon has also introduced an improved SD1000 point-and-shoot camera.
The new camera, called the SD1100 IS, features:
- 8 megapixel sensor
- Image stabilization
- DIGIC III image processor
- 2.5-inch LCD
The SD1100 IS will be available in new, fashionable colors: Bohemian Brown, Pink Melody, Rhythm and Blue, Golden Tone, and plain, old traditional silver.
The SD1100 IS will be sell for $250 and be available in March.
