Bad news for Palm fans–looks like the rumor from yesterday is correct but didn’t quite go far enough.
Palm will be closing all stores, including those in airports, by the end of the quarter. That adds up to 34 stores today–8 Palm-branded stores and 26 stores at various airports.

The Everex Cloudbook, competitor to the Asus Eee PC, was scheduled to hit Walmart today but if you’re waiting to check one out you’ll have to wait a little bit longer.
According to Paul Kim, director of marketing at Everex, the Cloudbook requires “a couple of last minute software tweaks.”

Okay, I admit, that’s a little harsh…but some initial benchmark numbers are in and with a few exceptions, the MacBook Air is getting dirt kicked into its [pretty] face by the other computers in Apple’s lineup.

While the Rock Band game itself has been available for purchase as either by itself or bundled with “instruments” for your “band”, the only way to purchase the instruments themselves was in the big, expensive bundle.
