While the Rock Band game itself has been available for purchase as either by itself or bundled with “instruments” for your “band”, the only way to purchase the instruments themselves was in the big, expensive bundle.
Thankfully, that’s about to change.
Harmonix, MTV and Electronics Arts announced today that standalone instruments for the band Rock Band will be hitting retail soon.
The Rock Band drum set will ship on February 12 and retail for $79.99, and the wireless Fender Stratocaster will ship on April 1 and retail for $59.99.
No info yet about a standalone microphone.
