At Macworld 2008 Steve Jobs announced the Apple TV Take 2, essentially an Apple TV with updated software allowing it to rent movies, including some in high definition, directly from the iTunes store.
If you’re been waiting for the free update to your Apple TV, you’ll have to wait a couple weeks longer.
Today Apple announced that the software update was “not quite finished” and it will be delayed for another 1 – 2 weeks.
UPDATE: Looks like that time frame was pretty accurate–the Apple TV Take 2 software update is now out. For more info check out this post.
