NY Giants win Super Bowl XLII 17 - 14

In dramatic fashion, Eli Manning and the New York Giants have defeated the New England Patriots.

With 2:42 remaining in the game and a 10 - 7 deficit, Tom Brady threw what could have easily been the game winning touchdown to Randy Moss, giving them a 14 - 10 lead.

With one possession remaining for the Giants, Eli Manning had one chance to lead his team down the field and with 35 seconds left Manning threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress. After the extra point the Giants had a 17 - 10 lead.

The Patriots would get the ball back but have very, very little time to do anything with it. If any team would be able to do it, the Patriots would. But this year it was not meant to be.

Both teams played brilliantly and the game was everything a Super Bowl should be.

Congratulations to both teams on their amazing seasons, and congratulations to the Super Bowl champion New York Giants.
