Super Bowl XLII has come and gone, and so have the Super Bowl commercials. During the game Toshiba was supposed to have run an ad for HD DVD, but did anyone actually see it?
A lot of people are saying that they watched the entire Super Bowl and didn’t see the ad, so what happened?

Did Toshiba pay nearly $3 million for an ad that didn’t air?
Maybe they decided that the would be better off spending that money on a better ad and cheaper air time?
Or could Toshiba be ready to give up the format war?
