Potentially more bad news for HD DVD as a Wal-Mart employee named Susan posted some info to the company blog saying that they will stop selling both HD DVD hardware and software by June.
Susan says that the move is inspired by the recently announced decisions by Netflix and Best Buy to drop HD DVD.
Who is Susan? A buyer for Wal-Mart, so I would assume that she would be in the know on this one.
Wal-Mart hasn’t officially confirmed this yet, but I would assume its true.
UPDATE: Okay, its been confirmed. Wal-mart will be dropping HD DVD by June and so is Sam’s Club, Wal-Mart’s membership warehouse.
