Universal announced today that they would stop producing HD DVD discs and instead support Blu-ray.
That leaves Paramount as the only major studio still supporting HD DVD, though they’re likely in the process of drafting their own press release right now.

The Apple online store went offline today for a bit earlier this morning and when it came back there were two changes:
The price of the 1GB iPod Shuffle has been dropped from $79 to $49

This is pretty amazing.
Every Windows user has likely heard any number of annoying sounds for events like a program error, Windows shutting down, etc.
What if you were to take all those sounds from Windows 98 and XP, play around with the pitch a bit, and try to arrange them into a song?

According to more than one tipsters/GameStop employee, beginning tomorrow GameStop will no longer be accepting HD DVD discs for trade-in.
So much for turning in a few HD DVD discs so you can buy an overpriced used video game (oops, did I say that?).

You may have see a few different blogs posting that iPhone 1.1.4 firmware was rumored to be just around the corner, possibly coinciding with a release of the iPhone SDK.

Could Epic Games, creators of Gears of War, Unreal Tournament, and the Unreal Engine (among others), be an acquisition target for Microsoft?
