Universal announced today that they would stop producing HD DVD discs and instead support Blu-ray.
That leaves Paramount as the only major studio still supporting HD DVD, though they’re likely in the process of drafting their own press release right now.
Paramount is still under contract to produce HD DVD discs, so I would expect to see an announcement from them throwing their support behind Blu-ray just as soon as they find a way out of that $150 million contract…
