Telemarketers suck. Always have, always will. Sorry if you or someone you know are one, but, well, you and/or they suck.

Its a bit like people who whistle in the office. Nobody likes it, please stop.

The current Do Not Call List is okay and all, but its a pain to have to keep renewing your registration when your names gets automatically removed each year.

Thankfully that’s about to change.

The new “Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007″ has just been signed into law by el Presidente. Under this new law, you will not be automatically removed from the Federal Do Not Call registry.

Also signed into law is the new “Do-Not-Call Registry Fee Extension Act of 2007″ which gives the FTC permanent authority to charge fees to telemarketers to access the Federal Do Not Call registry and specifies the fee that can be charged.
