The 2x (that I know of) delayed Everex CloudBook UMPC has just recently started shipping, but already its been dropped from one of the two stores that carried it, and the only one to actually ship any to customers.
The reason?
ZaReason says they’ve lost so much money giving refunds (because of bank transaction fees). Plus, part of their allotment of CloudBooks found its way to Wal-Mart instead. Oops.
They will be fulfilling all preorders, and that’s that.
The Everex website still shows that ZaReason is selling the CloudBook, but I imagine that will be changing soon…
