As you may already know, Microsoft is dropping the Xbox 360 HD DVD add-on drive.
If you’re still interested in getting yourself one the price has been dropped to $49.99, so get it while you can.
Why bother getting one now?
There really isn’t a good reason that I can think of…even if you were looking for a cheap HD DVD player to be able to check out the soon to be bargain basement HD DVD discs you could probably find a Toshiba HD DVD player for not much more and it wouldn’t require an Xbox 360 to operate.
