If you’ve been following the class-action lawsuit against Microsoft over the whole “Vista Capable” mess you might have asked yourself how it happened.
158 pages from “Exhibit A” of the lawsuit have been unsealed by the judge and what they reveal is interesting and damning: Intel’s 915 chipset was initially rejected as being compatible with Vista.

Several weeks ago Garmin announced a GPS and phone hybrid device called the nüvifone.
But all is not right in nuvi-ville.
Business phone service provider Nuvio has filed a lawsuit against Garmin claiming that Garmin has violated Nuvio’s trademark over the name nüvifone.

While still technically in alpha, Google’s Android seems to be coming along rather nicely. Darren Waters from the BBC was able to check out a demo of what Android can do while running on a prototype handset with a 300MHz processor and caught the whole thing on tape.

In October of 2006 Google acquired Jotspot, a hosted wiki application provider. After closing it down for nearly a year and a half, Google has reopened Jotspot and giving it a new name–Google Sites.

Today Microsoft released its latest server operation system, Windows Server 2008.
New in this version is “Hyper-V”, Microsoft’s new virtualization layer and its first major challenge to VMware’s domination in this space.
Initially just a beta version of Hyper-V will be included, with Microsoft planning to add the full feature set to the product within six months.

When Yahoo turned down Microsoft’s acquisition bid a couple weeks ago it was just a matter of time before disgruntled stock holders decided to sue Yahoo.
