Google Android showed off on video

While still technically in alpha, Google’s Android seems to be coming along rather nicely. Darren Waters from the BBC was able to check out a demo of what Android can do while running on a prototype handset with a 300MHz processor and caught the whole thing on tape.

The demo was operated by Andy Rubin, co-founder of Android (before Google acquired them) and Danger Inc, creators of the Sidekick.

Check out the video for yourself here if you’re interested.
