TomTom introduced two new GPS models today in their GO series, the GO 730 and GO 930.
Each features an updated user interface with new icons and smoother graphics, plus it will display lanes for upcoming turns and sign posts rendered in 3D which should help at potentially confusing intersections.
The new devices also feature something called “IQ Routes” which takes into account the average speeds of roads at different times of day to give a more realistic driving time estimate.
Each features Bluetooth, a 4.3-inch widescreen display, voice command, text-to-speech, support for TomTom Map Share, and an SD slot for expansion.
The only difference between the GO 730 and GO 930 seems to be standard memory and the maps that a preloaded. The GO 730 comes with 2GB and includes maps for the US, while the GO 930 comes with 4GB and includes maps of the US and Europe.
No prices yet but each are expected to ship on April 29.
