The Beatles music officialy coming to iTunes [UPDATED]

According to United Press International, Paul McCartney has reached a $400 million deal with Apple to have The Beatles catalog added to the iTunes store.
Paul won’t be the only one benefitting from this deal–Ringo Starr will receive a portion of the profits as will the families of George Harrison and John Lennon.
McCartney doesn’t solely own recording or publishing rights to The Beatles music, so Michael Jackson, EMI and Sony will also be getting a cut.
No word yet on when the music will be showing up in the iTunes store, but its nice to at least have official confirmation that its coming.
UPDATE: Ummm…I guess this isn’t so official after all? Check out the details here.
