When word that the upcoming iPhone firmware had been hacked before it was even released by Apple, people began asking/nagging for a video of the new firmware to see first hand what’s different.
What’s new?
So far they’ve confirmed:
- Exchange support
- AppStore
- Parental controls
- SDK support
- More advanced calculator
- CISCO VPN support
- Mass mail deletion
There is no spotlight icon, so it looks like no search feature (at least right now).
iPhone Dev Team has released a short video of the new firmware showing off just a couple of changes. The quality isn’t great, but here it is if you’re interested:
