Apple releases iPhone SDK beta 2

Apple today has released an updated version of their iPhone SDK, bringing it to beta 2.
Aside from some bug fixes, the only major change over the previous release is the inclusion of the Interface Builder for creating user interfaces.

Layoffs coming to CNET

Investors have been accusing CNET of underperforming for a while now. To please investors and plan for “long-term growth”, CNET has announced that they will be laying off 120 people (roughly 10% of their staff).
While the company does have a global presence, all of the cuts will be happening in the US.
