Microsoft ready to pay more for Yahoo?

According to a WSJ story Microsoft has said privately that they would be willing to increase their acquisition offer to Yahoo from the original offer of $31 per share to up to $33 per share.

After first slashing the price of their Xbox 360 console in Europe last month Microsoft has announced that they will be slashing the price of the Premium model with a 20GB hard drive in four Asian markets:

Singapore: nearly 20 percent off
Taiwan: 17 percent
Hong Kong: 11 percent

New 3G iPhone to sell for $199?

According to Fortune, AT&T will be heavily subsidizing the new 3G iPhone meaning that the retail price could be in the neighborhood of $199. Microsoft updates Messenger for Mac to version 7

Users of Microsoft Messenger for Mac’s eager for an update can now get their fix–Microsoft has released version 7 of their instant messaging program.
The biggest addition in this version is support for full audio/video conferencing between Mac’s and PC’s.
