Everex announced today that it will be releasing an updated version of it’s Cloudbook UMPC dubbed the Cloudbook MAX.
What makes the Cloudbook MAX better than the previous model?
Quite a bit, actually.

HTC announced today that their Touch DUAL smartphone is coming to the US and be the first phone released for the US market that will ship with the new Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system pre-installed.

According to a story at CrunchGear, Dolby and SIM2 are working on a new technology that will allow for high dynamic range (HDR) lighting on an LCD screen.

DigiTimes is reporting that according to industry sources Lite-On is developing a Blu-ray drive for Microsoft’s Xbox 360.
The drives, according to the sources, will begin shipping to Microsoft in the second half of this year.

Palm announced today that their $99 Centro smartphone, on sale since September of 2007, has passed the one million sold mark.
