BlackBerry users who also like XM Satellite Radio service have a new reason to be happy today.
XM has announced that it is teaming up with QuickPlay Media to deliver “20 exclusive XM channels of commercial-free music and 24-hour comedy programming for just $7.99 per month with an option for a complimentary 24-hour trial.”

Just days after Aloha Airlines announced that it was shutting down, word comes out that ATA Airlines has canceled all flights and filed for bankruptcy.
Once the 10th largest carrier in the US, ATA has entered bankruptcy protection for the second time in just over three years yesterday, citing the loss of crucial military charter business.

Sony today announced a new camcorder, the HDR-TG1 (called the HD TG3E in Europe), the world’s smallest camcorder able to capture 1080i video.
Measuring just 1.3 x 4.7 x 2.5 inches and weighing just 10-ounces, features of the HDR-TG1 Handycam will include:

Just one month after passing Best Buy to become the number two music retailer in the US, Apple has now overtaken Wal-Mart to become the number one music retailer.
In January the iTunes store claimed 19 percent of sales, Wal-Mart had 15 percent (online and brick-and-mortar combined), third place went to Best Buy with 13 percent.

Taking one more step towards primetime, the Mozilla Foundation has released another beta of their Firefox 3 web browser.
Firefox 3 beta 5 has tighter integration with your computer’s operating system, meaning you’ll have native icons and interface widgets.
The Mac version has support for Growl notifications and the Linux version uses the native GTK theme.
