Microsoft turning off Hotmail support for Outlook Express

Microsoft has announced that on June 30th they will be switching off Hotmail support for Outlook Express because of the outdated protocol that is used for the connection called DAV.

AT&T laying off 1.5 percent of workforce

After the acquisition of several regional companies recently and a sluggish US economy, AT&T has announced that the “next step in streamlining its operations” is to reduce its workforce by 1.5 percent.
That 1.5 percent means just over 4,600 employees will be laid off.

Microsoft has released a new update for their Xbox 360 console that you’ll likely be asked to download next time you turn on your Xbox 360.
What does it do?
Nothing you’ll see.
No new features, no performance updates, etc. According to Major Nelson the update is only to “prepare for future growth of the [Xbox LIVE] service.”
