Microsoft has decided that it will be switching off its MSN Diret service for SPOT watches.
SPOT, short for Smart Personal Object Technology, is/was a watch that could receive data feeds wirelessly from the MSN Direct service for things like sports scores, weather info, etc.
MSN Direct itself will still be offered to some Windows Mobile smartphones [...]

According to some info Kotaku managed to get hold of Nintendo is preparing to increase their Wii production by 30%, bringing the number of Wii’s produced each month from 1.8 million to 2.4 million.
Good news if you’re been trying to find a Wii in stock since the dawn of time.

According to a GeekSugar tipster Apple will be bumping the specs on their iMacs next week.
The updated iMacs will, according to the rumor, look the same as the current one and be at the same price point, but will likely have a speed bump and increased hard drive capacity.

Sony has released a new matte bronze-colored PlayStation Portable (PSP) value pack.
As far as I can tell this will only be available in Japan or online retailers that can sell you Japanese electronics like Play-Asia or SuccessHK and its available now for around $300.

Apple has released an updated version of the iPhone SDK, making the latest version Beta 4.
New in this version is support for OpenGL ES to the iPhone Simulator.
The “ES” is short for “Embedded Systems” and is the graphics API for Symbian and Android as well.

Fans of Ubuntu Linux can now download the final version of 8.04, aka “Hardy Heron”.
8.04 includes GNOME 2.22 and several other new features and architectural improvements such as:

Delta Airlines has announced by the year 2010 they will install Thompson Solutions Cozy Suite seats into all of its Boeing 777 and 767 planes.
The Cozy Suite seats will over 31-inches of legroom and the seat has a “fixed backshell, which does not recline into the person behind you.”

When a new PlayStation 3 bundle with Grand Theft Auto IV showed up on Webhallen, people were both excited and hesitant.
