In a problem that is being blamed on “a 3rd party that is a Microsoft partner,” MSN Messenger users found themselves unable to send YouTube links to one another on Friday and Saturday.
Apparently the Microsoft parter being fingered was responsible for blocking potentially harmful URLs from the IM program and for whatever reason YouTube links were flagged as potentially harmful.
Things have apparently been fixed so if you need to send YouTube links via MSN Messenger you should be able to now.
