Sony releases 2.35 firmware for PS3, GTA IV still freezing

Sony has released a minor firmware update for their PlayStation 3 console, bringing the latest version to 2.35.
The new version is supposed to “improve stability of some PS3 titles”. The titles that it improves aren’t named, but in the comments here it does mention that this update is not intended to do anything for GTA IV.
