The upcoming Asus Eee PC 901, the tweaked version of the Eee PC 900 that just went on sale May 12th in the US, will be launching on June 3rd.
Does that mean that it will be available in the US and Taiwan on the 3rd? Not sure yet–could just be Taiwan initially but we’ll find out soon.
The 901, as you probably already know, will be more or less an Eee PC 900 with an Intel Atom chip instead of a Celeron. Sure, there are some other changes, but they’re pretty minor.
The official price hasn’t been released yet but its expected to be priced below $650.
