The release date for the upcoming Samsung Instinct touchscreen phone for Sprint has been announced and will be June 20th.
No pricing has been released yet but it could have a tough time against the 3G iPhone which is expected to be announced on June 9th and ship not long after that.

HTC has announced that they will be boosting shipments of their upcoming Touch Diamond handset by 50%, in anticipation for the likely demand for the product.
Originally planning on shipping 2 million, after the increase that means they are expected to ship roughly 3 million units.

Panasonic has announced the pricing and street date for their upcoming PZ850-series Viera plasma and reminded us that the HDTV’s will be Internet enabled and be able to surf YouTube clips or Picasa web albums without needing another device.

BlackBerry users that like the GPS service but not the $9.99 per month subscription fee now have a new option–Garmin’s newly announced lifetime subscription option.
For a one time fee of $99.99, BlackBerry owners can have a lifetime subscription to Garmin’s map and point of interest info.

Earlier this month when Microsoft released SP3 for Windows XP, users with an HP computer that had an AMD processor found a tiny problem when their computer would enter an endless reboot cycle.

Courtesy of Japanese website Impress, we have benchmarks of the much talked about Intel Atom processor and the MSI Wind PC (the tiny desktop computer, not the Asus Eee PC competitor).
