According to developers poking around with the new firmware 2.1 Apple released yesterday, some new entries have been found in the iPhone WebKit framework that points to several commands not currently supported by the iPhone: cutting, copying and pasting.

After what seems like forever, the merger of satellite radio providers Sirius and XM has finally been approved by the last group that needed to bless it–the FCC.
By a vote of 3 to 2, the FCC agreed to the merger after Sirius and XM agreed to pay a $19.7 million fine for violating FCC regulations [...]

On July 16th software maker SAP announced that their Standard Support is being replaced by Enterprise Support, increasing the cost to Standard Support customers.
As you might expect, the move isn’t exactly popular and the SAP U.K. & Ireland Users Group and Germany’s DSAG are starting to make some noise about it.

The video game-based Gears of War movie has gotten some more traction. Variety is reporting that Legendary Pictures will be co-financing the film with New Line.
You might remember that the project also has a director–Len Wiseman, director of Live Free or Die Hard, has signed on to do the project.
