Although a dual-core version of the lower-power Intel Atom processor hasn’t been officially announced, some info has made its way into Intel’s Developer Forum.
If the info is accurate, look for a dual-core Atom 330 to be launched at 1.6GHz and be built on the same 45nm process.
With a new motherboard slated to launch in September that would be a good time for the Atom 330 to make it’s debut as well, though it’s still just a rumor at this point.
