SCEE president David Reeves today confirmed a PSP rumor that has been floating around a bit–Sony is indeed working on a new PSP.
The new model, called the PSP-3000, will be nearly identically visually to the current PSP’s but will include new features like a built-in microphone, a new, brighter LCD, and pre-installed Skype.
Look for the PSP-3000 to be released on October 14th in the US for $199 and in Europe on October 15th for €199. It will also be available in eight bundles such as one featuring Harry Potter and another with Buzz Master Quiz.
