Its no secret that new iPhones are coming and most feel that we’ll see them around June of this year, coinciding with Apple’s WWDC, but CrunchGear is floating a new theory about when we may see them–next week.

According to a story at mocoNews, a source is telling that Virgin Mobile is in talks with small, financially challenged carrier Helio to potentially merge the two company’s.
Until late last year Helio had been co-owned by Earthlink and Korean communications giant SK Telecom until taking full ownership with a $70 million buyout.

According to PC World China, Philips is working on a new cellphone called the “Xenium x800″ which apparently will have an “e2e” screen which likely means “edge to edge”.
Very little is known about this handset at the moment, assuming it’s even real.

While Microsoft is already an investor in Facebook (to the tune of $240 million), a new rumor making the rounds is that Microsoft is considering buying the social networking site outright.

According to a story over at The Wall Street Journal, Sprint is getting ready to announce a $12 billion WiMAX deal with Sprint merging its XOHM wireless broadband division with Clearwire, then taking $3.2 billion in investments from several other companies to build up WiMAX.

According to a story in The Wall Street Journal Sprint is considering either spinning off or selling Nextel, “a dramatic acknowledgement that Sprint’s $35 billion acquisition of Nextel Communications in 2005 has been a failure.”

Although there doesn’t seem to be an official word yet about a Motorola and Kodak partnership, newly leaked photos of the upcoming Motorola ZN5 cellphone seem to point to one if they’re real.
The photos show the Motorola logo in the center of the phone and the Kodak logo on the camera part of the phone.
