According to the New York Times, MTV is about to announce a new bonus pack for Rock Band featuring live tracks from AC/DC called AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack.
Looks like it will only be available at Wal-Mart and will go for $40.
Tracks are expected to include:

Shoot to Thrill
Back in Black
Hell Ain’t a Bad Place [...]

Electronic Arts has announced that they have pulled their bid to acquire rival video game publisher Take Two Interactive, publisher of the Grand Theft Auto series.
The bid was pulled after Take Two executives outlined their three-year product plan and provided due diligence of their books.

While some retailers are already starting to show a new, lower price for the 120GB add-on hard drive for the Xbox 360 console, Microsoft has finally made it official.
The new price for the drive is $149, down from $179.

A rumor began making the rounds yesterday that video game developer Ensemble Studios was closing and it didn’t take long for Microsoft to chime in–yes, Ensemble is closing once the upcoming game Halo Wars ships in early 2009.

After quite a bit of speculation, Microsoft today has officially announced price cuts across the board on their Xbox 360 console in the US.
The Arcade will drop from $279 to $199, the Standard will drop from $349 to $299, and the Elite will drop from $449 to $399.

According to CVG they’ve gotten word that the next firmware update for the PlayStation 3 console, version 2.50, will include a new feature–the ability to take screenshots.
Probably not such a big deal for most users but anyone who uses their camera to share screenshots with friends will sure appreciate it.

PlayStation 3 owners looking for an way way to enter text without using a full computer keyboard will be interested in Sony’s new wireless keypad, scheduled to hit stores on November 30th for $49.99.
