Cliffy B. and pals at Epic have been working hard on a sequel to their award winning Xbox 360 game Gears of War.
How far along are they?
Far enough to release a sweet video of some gameplay with a little intro from Cliffy B. himself.

Take-Two Interactive, publisher of the hit Xbox 360 game BioShock, has announced that a movie based on the game will be made by Universal Pictures and directed by “Pirates of the Caribbean” director Gore Verbinski.

Microsoft has released a new version of their XNA Game Studio, version 3.0 CTP (short for Community Technology Preview)
New in this version supports creating games for the Zune which you can develop using C#.

id Software has announced that as of today they have begun production on Doom 4.
A lot of gamers have a soft spot in their heart for Doom, the game that got many of them hooked on first person shooters and multiplayer gaming.

According to Sony their PlayStation 3 has sold more than 5 million units in Europe and has been besting the Xbox 360 in sales since October.

On April 15th Amazon began offering pre-orders on the Nintendo Wii Fit. The balance board and fitness game combo sold at an average of 2.5 units per minute and as of May 3rd all of Amazon’s alloted 68,400 have been sold out.

Fans of the Ratchet and Clank series will soon have a new game to play, as long as you’ve got a PSP.
Secret Agent Clank is coming to the PSP on June 17th.

When Nintendo released the Wii they knew that it would inspire out-of-the-box thinking and allow developers really try some new things but I’m pretty sure a pole dancing game wasn’t something that crossed their mind.
Ready or not, looks like Peekaboo Pole Dancing is serious about releasing this title and is actively seeking a partner.
